Situated on the edge of the Home Park, Windsor Farm Shop is just a short distance away from the beautiful scenery of the Great Park and historic surroundings of Windsor Castle. Catch the Golden Tours open top bus (check operating calendar) and alight at the Windsor Farm Shop stop.

The first café for visitors to Windsor Castle has opened in Edward III’s medieval Undercroft, which for centuries served as the Castle’s main wine cellar and is one of the oldest surviving spaces in the 1,000-year-old royal residence.
Visitors can enjoy freshly prepared meals, including sandwiches, wraps and salads, served alongside an exclusive selection of teas. Sweet treats range from vanilla mille-feuille and vegan chocolate cake to fruit scones and Victoria sponge.
During the summer, the Café serves ice cream produced using milk from the Jersey herd at the Royal Farms, Windsor.
The Undercroft is on the ground floor of the Castle beneath St George’s Hall, where State Banquets take place, and dates back to Edward III’s major renovations during the 1350s and 1360s.
For a café with a view, it’s hard to beat The Savill Garden Kitchen within The Savill Garden Visitor Centre.
Glance through the floor-to-ceiling windows and enjoy a refreshing drink whilst gazing out at the expansive garden, or take a break on the outdoor terrace.
The menu includes breakfasts and pastries, wood-fired pizzas, soups, salads, hot meals, Sunday roasts, desserts and cakes.
Dog walkers can enjoy a coffee, tea or cake on the covered terrace overlooking the Garden.
Admire the beautiful River Thames either side of the bridge between Windsor and Eton. On the Eton side, enjoy morning coffee with a French twist at Cote Brasserie in Eton or on the Windsor side, relax with a beverage in Sir Christopher Wren’s Brasserie.
In Maidenhead, drop down to Bakedd, an artisan bakery and coffee shop with outside seating right by York Stream.
After a visit to Windsor Castle, a short walk down Peascod Street will bring you to St Leonards Road with its range of independent shops and eateries; it's where the locals like to hang out.
